Fabulous idea! I wish my kids were little enough to still enjoy these kinds of books. I really enjoyed reading them to them when they were little!

What a creative TT! My most favorite childhood book (and I STILL remember it!) is the Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's awesome!

GREAT LIST!!! And don't forget "Good Night Moon" and if your children are around 3 or 4 up to about 7 or 8 I highly recommend a book called "Bentley and Egg" -- I believe it's by James Joyce... I know the last name is Joyce. Not sure on the first name! :)

That's a great list. I need to pick up a few of those...

I've never heard of any of those, either. Unless While You Were Sleeping was later made into a Sandra Bullock movie :)

My favorite book that I can remember was The Velveteen Rabbit

Okay don't strangle me, but I am not a fan of Goodnight Moon. Crazy, maybe, I know it's a favorite of most people, but I just don't get what's so great about it?! It's okay, but not one of my favs, that's why I didn't include it.

Thanks for the suggestions of others to look at. Will have to check those out.

LOL about While You Were Sleeping being made into the Sandra Bullock movie!
