Okay, so I'm sitting here in my office eating my lunch and wondering what the heck I can blog about today! LOL Not much to write about.
Tomorrow we're going to my mom's house to install a new screen door for her. Then Sunday I'm going to a crop (scrapbooking). And of course the usual cleaning and laundry. Then back to another work week again. Not too exciting, huh? lol
However, on Tuesday I am taking a vacation day and keeping Brendan with me while Joe goes to work and Adam goes to the sitter. I've been feeling like I haven't been spending enough time with Brendan lately. Adam is somewhat high-maintenance and usually fussy in the evenings until he goes to bed, so my attention is demanded from Adam. Poor Brendan usually ends up either (a) playing in his room by himself or (b) annoying the heck out of me trying to get attention. So, I'm taking a day with him. We have a Parents as Teachers meeting at 3:30 anyway, so I decided to just take the whole day since I had to leave work early anyway that day. I've been wanting to take Brendan to Ice Age 2, so I think we will do that on Tuesday before the P.A.T. lady gets to our house. Haven't decided what else we will do yet in the morning. The movie doesn't start til 1:00. And then we'll have to go get Adam before the PAT meeting too. So, we won't have a lot of time, but I think he will enjoy it anyway. And I'm looking forward to it too!

Ah, I know exactly what you mean. I often take full or half days off with just one of my boys too. We also try to divide up and do things with Mom/one boy and Dad/one boy, just so they get some one on one time. It is hard to juggle everything when they are so young and crave our attention. And as exhausting as it is... I dread the opposite happening when they get older...
