Monday Memories

Did I ever tell you about the time my husband and I got in trouble for skinny dipping?

We were visiting with a friend at his apartment, and several others were there too. It was pretty late, maybe midnight-ish, and some of the guys decided to go swimming. My husband and his brother, along with about 2 or 3 other guys, and then there was me. We went to the apartment complex's outdoor pool, which was locked, but we jumped the gate. None of us had swimming suits with us, so the guys just stripped down and jumped in. I actually did keep my bra and underwear on, being the only girl there with about 4-5 guys. I think what kept me from taking those off too, was the fact that my husband's BROTHER was there...my brother-in-law...just seemed too weird to be naked in front of a family member I guess. Anyway, we were all in there awhile and then a cop pulled up. And then another, and another. 3 cop cars with their lights on, we thought surely there was something important going on. Little did we know they were coming because of us! They got out of their cars and told me to get out of the pool. Not sure why they told me first, but then they ordered the guys out of the pool too, and they took down all of our names and information. They were very rude and mean and acted like we had committed a murder or something. One of the guys was saying something to the cops like "Lighten up guys, we were just swimming and not hurting anyone" and that only made the cops even more mad. But, they eventually went along their way and left. I kept thinking, didn't they have anything better to do? Surely there were worse, real crimes going on that the cops should be tending to rather than sending THREE cops to get some naked adults out of a pool?!

So did you get a ticket or a fine or anything?

How weird that they were so angry about it all.

Thanks for linking me. I will link you up.

LOL! Stupid cop's-- maybe they were bored-- or maybe got lots of phone calls about it.. who knows- but it's pretty funny! :) I've never been skinny dipping- always wanted too.... but we're hitting the hot pools next weekend- WAHOOOOO!

That would have scared the crap out of me! Seriously, what was up with those cops? Exactly what law were you breaking? Oh right, the law that says adults cannot have fun.

I used to go skinny dipping all the time. Somehow I never got caught. Now, I would...no doubt about it. Sorry the cops were such jerks.

That's odd. I got busted for Skinny dipping once and it was more like the cops wanted to see breasts then anything else.

I have my MM up...2nd one. I am linking to yours...if that's ok.

I'm sure the cops wanted to join in for an orgy.

Wow! That does seem much ado about nothing. I suppose that you had quite a few of the residents all ticked off that you were in the pool.
We always skinny dipped in private pools. My nextdoor neighbor's was really good.

My memories are up too http://lillyput.blogspot.com

I don't know what's going on- every time I add you, Renee, to the message w/ a link to you it doesn't show up! I've added you like 5 times and you still are not showing up at the bottom of the message. Sorry! I don't know what's the problem
