I'm slipping

Ugh, it's happening again. I can feel myself starting to slip back into the tired/sad/overwhelmed/frustrated funk again. I hate that. I'm trying not to let myself be that way. But I just can't seem to keep up and stay on top of things. And his stuff is everywhere, and I'm constantly picking up after everyone, only to have it a mess again within hours. I'm getting snippy and frustrated. I need a vacation. I need to recharge, rethink, reorganize, replan, and get back on track. But alas, if I even mention a "vacation" we start the whole other battle (if you've been reading long, you know that battle- the one where he freaks out over money, no matter how little the amount is and I get upset that he doesn't care about my wishes and needs for having a life outside of work and cleaning the house, and so on and so forth), and if we get in that battle again, it will only intensify the tired/sad/overwhelmed/frustrated funk into something worse. Again. *sigh* It is a vicious cycle.

Think retreat. Think retreat. I guess one reason I love working for the school... but I start up job #2 on teh 10th, so that's why I've been so demon cleaning lady. Because I'll get so behind, and I can't handle it. Spring time blue's for a lot of us. *HUGS*
As for $$.. gosh, I bought WAY TOO MUCH on sizzix.com-- *sigh*

Set up a date night with your husband. Rent a movie or play a board game and order a pizza (We order take out from Olive Garden-save money on a tip, but still get killer cheesecake). Hire a sitter for 3 hours, or wait till kiddos are asleep.

Hang in there.

Ack, hang in there! Make lists! I'm a big believer in lists even if I never cross off everything I write, but it makes me feel more organized. And, you need to talk to your man and make him understand how much you NEED a vacation!

Soon the Spring flowers will be blooming and the trees will turn green and the sun will stay out longer and longer each day. You'll feel better soon. Cuddle up with the babies and play with them and enjoy life. Forget about all the hassles for just a little while.
